We had lots of fun raising money for Children in Need, including wearing our pyjamas and taking part in the duck race. A big well done to Silver Class who won, they chose Beakwell Tart, the winning duck!
We had a great first welly walk today. We collected leaves, talking about their colours and textures. We also compared their size and we talked about the seasons and why the leaves change colour. We then had fun throwing the leaves up in the air.
Today we held our first stay and play session in Reception Class, and it was a fantastic afternoon! The children enjoyed showing their families what we get up to in school. We finished off the week with a birthday party for Kipper! We played some party games and sang happy birthday, then we ate the cakes we made yesterday.
We have had a busy day preparing for Kipper's birthday party tomorrow. We looked at the box to read the instructions and we developed our motor skills and hand/eye co-ordination by cracking the egg, pouring in the water and stirring the mixture together.
