Last Thursday, James, a real engineer, came into school to join in with our DT lesson. He helped us make our fire engines. Our fire engines needed wheels, axles and a chassis. We used saws to cut the axles to the right size, attached the axles to our shoe boxes and then added the wheels. [...]

We had lots of fun raising money for Children in Need, including wearing our pyjamas and taking part in the duck race. A big well done to Silver Class who won, they chose Beakwell Tart, the winning duck!
