This mornings nursery class have made cornflake nests today. The children made predictions about what would happen to the chocolate when we melted it. They also practised their motor skills by stirring and scooping the mixture. The best part of course, was eating them all up!
Gold Class have been busy on their nature walk, looking for the different items on their list. They found lots of exciting things on their exploration of the natural world.
Gold Class and Reception Class had great fun during today's dance workshop, some of the children were a little nervous at first, but they soon settled in and enjoyed it. We acted out the story How to Catch a Star through dance. IMG_2855 IMG_2848
We all had a wonderful day celebrating World Book Day. You all looked amazing in your costumes.
To help us develop our physical skills, we will be taking part in PE once a week with Mr Pask. We will be playing lots of fun games involving running, climbing, balancing, following instructions and working as part of a team.
Gold and Silver Class have decorated their own pancakes using a range of ingredients. We then ate them all up. Yummy!
This week the children in Gold Class have been reading Daisie and the Egg. This afternoon the children have built their own nest for our egg.

Paralympic athlete Roy Turnham visited school today. We heard all about his inspiring journey and we got to take part in a special fitness session.
