In year 2 we all have a growth mindset. This means that we try and try and we never give up! We embrace challenges, persevere and take risks.

We use the word ‘yet’ a lot when we don’t know something. For example I don’t know my five times tables yet- which means that we will know them after hard work, time and effort.

If things are tricky we say. ‘This will take some time and effort.’  

A mistake is celebrated in year 2 as it is a chance for us to learn!

Growth mindset helps our brains to grow and become strong!
