School Uniform Update September 2026

Exciting Updates Coming This September! We are thrilled to announce that we are transitioning to a full active uniform starting this September, combining comfort and cost-effectiveness into a single, versatile wardrobe that keeps our pupils ready for movement and learning every day. To celebrate their final year, Year 6 pupils will wear their leavers hoodies as their outer layer instead of the new red half-zip top. As we are also hoping to update our school badge this year, the 2026-2027 academic year will be a transition year—there is no pressure to buy new badged items immediately, and children are welcome to wear their old uniforms if they still fit. Our official badged items (half-zip tops and T-shirts) are available on our school uniform website, while plain black bottoms and trainers can be sourced from any retailer. We appreciate your support as we move toward a more energetic and inclusive school environment! Active uniform can be ordered from LPES.

For safety reasons, the wearing of jewellery is not allowed. Only earrings of the ‘stud’ type may be worn. Studs must be removed for P.E. without exception. We recommend that ear piercing should take place at the beginning of the summer holiday so allowing time for healing. During PE or Games lessons, studs and watches must be removed.

All clothing should be clearly labelled, and outdoor coats should have strong loops so that they can be hung safely on pegs. A clearly named draw-string bag should be provided so that PE kits can be kept safely. Bags should be of a reasonable size so that they are easy to store and don’t block corridors.
