Over the last few weeks in Year 6, we have been discovering all about the Human Body.  We started by looking at a heart and its different components and function.  Then we created a scientific investigation to discover how different exercises affect our hearts differently.  We made our own blood from sweets to think about the proportion of the different blood cells, and we have created fantastic information posters all about the importance of drinking water.  Year 6 are the biologists of the future!  Have a look at the pictures below which show some of the highlights of our lessons.
