We have been learning all about Space in Year 5 this half term and the children have enjoyed conducting a number of different enquiries. We used Oreo’s to demonstrate the phases of the moon, we went inside the dark tent to explore the phases using a torch and, finally, the children demonstrated their Youtube video skills and recorded themselves explaining how the rotation of the Earth gives day and night.
