In DT we have been completing our Food unit- we were assigned a task by Willy Wonka to develop a brand new biscuit recipe. The children were all very excited and began by exploring and rating a number of biscuits- yum! We have also researched and compared recipes, looked at healthier options and explored the options of using Fairtrade products, linking to our World Trade unit in Geography. Finally, the children have designed their ‘final product’ and used their computing skills to create a flowchart for the method. We cannot wait to bake our biscuits!
