Sports For Champions UK
On Wednesday 22nd June, we will be visited by athletes from Sports for Champions UK. The children will complete an activity with an athlete. They have brought home a sponsorship form to raise money for unsponsored athletes. Any money will be greatly received, and split between school and the unsponsored athletes. Thank you!
Sports Afternoon
On Wednesday afternoon year 1-5 will be doing their sports afternoon. Please ensure your child brings in their P.E kit and water bottle on this day! EYFS have received information on Class Dojo regarding their Sports Day.
Y4 Swimming
Y4 will be starting our swimming lessons on Thursday 15th September. A letter will be sent out on Monday with all the details. But here is what they will need to bring: Girls will need a one piece swimming costume (not a bikini) and a swim hat (apparently an adult size is best, then it is not too tight) Boys need swimming shorts (they must be short, not baggy and no longer than knee length) All children will need a towel in a carrier bag (no need for a fancy bag) All earrings must be taken out. No goggles are needed. Any questions please ask.

Football Extravaganza Day!
James from Progressive Sports is coming in to celebrate the start of the Football World Cup for a Football Extravaganza Day! This is a free, fun event that all children will be taking part in. We are already holding a non uniform day on the 25th to ask for donations for the Christmas Fayre in exchange, so your child may want to come in football wear as part of the World Cup Extravaganza! A separate letter will be sent out with more details on donations we are kindly asking for from each class.

Sports for Champions
We had an amazing morning with Martha our footballer from Sports for Champions. She told us all about how she became a footballer for Birmingham Ladies and about the awards she won whilst playing for Liverpool and Manchester United Ladies teams. Thank you to everyone who sponsored the children, we raised a wonderful £900.50.

Sports for Champions UK
On Wednesday 19th June, Sports for Champions UK will be coming in and completing some exercises with each class. Your child will be coming home with a sponsorship form today and all monies will need to be in school by Monday 17th June at 3:20pm please so that the office team can count this up.
