Making Shoes - Y1
Year 1 had a great afternoon making shoes that could have been worn in Jesus’ time.
Library Visit - Y4
We loved our visit to Darwen Library today! We learned all about how a library works and enjoyed looking at all the different books. We all borrowed a book to keep at school. Those who brought back their form to become members will get their library cards by the end of the week so you can go back and choose a book to enjoy at home.
Winter Lunch Menus
Our new winter lunch menus commence on Monday 1st November, thank you to Mrs Stuttard and her team for creating these delicious meals. Y2 Designing and Making Fire Engines.
Year 2 have been busy making their fire engines. They have followed their design and added features including hoses and ladders.
Y2 Light Investigation
We completed a light investigation in science this week. We received an email from a scientist explaining his methods and his results, however we found he had made a few mistakes. We then explored the resources and completed the test ourselves before writing an e-mail back to him with some ideas to help in complete a fair test in the future.
Half Term!

Wednesday Worship - Achieving our Goals.
Our Worship this morning was lead by Rev Rebecca. She showed us that it is easier to reach our goals if we have help. This help may come from God, our family, our teachers or our friends.
