Today, the children participated in a physical activity session inspired by the theme of woodland animals. Using a variety of apparatus, they explored different ways to create shapes with their bodies while developing their balance, coordination, and strength.

As they moved across the equipment, the children focused on squeezing their muscles to maintain their shapes, ensuring their arms and legs were straight when performing straight and star shapes. They confidently climbed, balanced, and jumped, demonstrating increasing control over their movements. Some children experimented with different shapes and actions, thinking creatively about how woodland animals might move through their environment.

The session also encouraged important social skills, as the children took turns with their group, ensuring everyone had a chance to use the equipment safely. They showed growing confidence when using the apparatus, supporting and encouraging one another throughout the activity.

Overall, this session provided an opportunity for the children to develop their physical skills while engaging their imagination and teamwork in a fun, active way.
