In our Picture News lesson, we learned about Boyan Slat. Inspired by seeing plastic pollution while diving as a teenager, he founded The Ocean Cleanup to remove rubbish from the oceans and prevent more plastic from reaching rivers and seas. We discussed the importance of protecting our environment and how everyone can help reduce plastic pollution.
