On Monday, Year 6 were lucky enough to have a talk from a visitor learning about how to improve their lifestyles, with a focus on creating healthy habits, and how to make the right choices around food.
Year 6: Art - Packaging Designs
In Art, Year 6 have been completing their research and designs before making their own packaging for a food product.

Fortnite continues to reign supreme in the gaming world, drawing in millions of players with its bold graphics, fast-paced action and constant stream of new content. Last week Year 6 had an amazing time at PGL, we participated in raft building, abseiling, zip-line, traverse, orienteering, archery tag and survival skills.

Year 6: English - To Effectively Describe a Setting.
Year 6 have been focussing on their use of powerful adjectives, expanded noun phrases and relative clauses, to create realistic descriptions of something magical. They have created their own 'Room of Wonders' inspired by the Nowhere Emporium.
Year 6: Science - Voltage
In science Year 6 have been building circuits, with the aim of finding the impact that changing the voltage has on the brightness of a bulb. We made predictions and then tested the accuracy of their thinking.
