This week in P.E., Year 3 transformed into budding golfers! We focused on developing the core skills needed to control the ball on the ground.
We learned the correct grip—how to hold the club to ensure a powerful and accurate swing. We practised interlocking our hands and keeping a firm but relaxed hold.  We explored the importance of a good stance and positioning ourselves correctly over the ball. We made sure our feet were shoulder-width apart and our knees were slightly bent.  We practised the putting swing, focusing on a smooth, controlled motion to send the ball rolling gently toward a target. We talked about keeping our head down and following through with the club.
