Year 2 have started the new term with their brand-new maths topic: Money! The children worked together to explore the value of different coins and master the art of counting in pence.
Through different challenges, Year 2 shared their ideas to add different coins and discovered that there is often more than one way to make an amount. This hands-on approach has not only boosted their counting confidence but also helped us with our multiplication knowledge!
